  • Research and monitor local and global trade and sanctions regulations and updates
  • Strong knowledge of export control, sanctions and import/customs laws in APAC region and the U.S.
  • Ability to interpret government regulations and apply business knowledge to client’s operations
  • Experiences in conducting risk assessment and audit, understand compliance control point
  • Experiences in conducting due diligence and screening
  • Knowledge of product classification, jurisdiction analysis and license determination
  • Involvement in overall case project management and administration
  • Support research and drafting of project proposals and broader business development initiatives
  • Prepare written analyses, summaries of our findings and reports
  • Assist with drafting training materials, client’s policies and procedures
  • Communicate preliminary findings to engagement stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
Qualification and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-7 years of relevant experiences
  • Solid knowledge of Worldwide (mostly the U.S. and China) trade regulations is required; specifically, like the U.S. EAR, OFAC regulation, China export control law and regulation demonstrated work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and project management skills
  • Experience in project management, liaising with internal and external resources and reporting to senior management and clients
  • Ability to reliably meet deadlines and manage multiple time sensitive matters simultaneously
  • Proficiency using MS office tools, screening tools and other trade compliance software
  • Self-starter, able to work independently multi-task, set priorities and execute timely to meet deadlines and strategic objectives
  • Proficient in English and Chinese is required
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional global teams and drive issues to conclusion
