Job descriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.In this role, you will:Provide overall direction and strategy in relation to the productivity & effectiveness enhancement of the New business, Underwriting, Policy servicing & Claim operation in a fast changing competitive market, and to the delivery of excellent quality service experience with professionalism and innovative approachCreate a customer friendly used and optimized business environment in accordance with our life insurance mission and vision, and in a sensitive manner to address the needs and issues of the customersEnsure compliance with procedures and standards required by the HSBC Group, and by regulatory, compliance or law and enforce robust internal controlProactively identify opportunities leveraging up-to-date technology and method to improve internal processes and procedures in order to enhance the overall customer experience qualityDefine the New business, Underwriting, Policy servicing & Claim transformation project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesManage transformation projects delivery proactively by defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedules and, balancing scope, schedule, budget and risks, collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsTo be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:Bachelor degree or above majoring in Finance or InsuranceMinimum 10 years of experience in the financial industry in China, preferably life insuranceExperience of business management and for strategic project deliveryGood understanding of insurance business services and operationsKnowledge of risk and compliance proceduresExcellent organization and planning skills and strong communication skill to engage various stakeholdersYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
