Job descriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.In this role, you will:Ø Defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesØ Managing delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risksØ Defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedulesØ Working within project controls and proceduresØ Working within established quality assurance processesØ Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholdersØ Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisationØ Providing guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectivesØ Adhering to HSBC project methodology at all timesØ Depending on the field in which the Project is located, a working level knowledge of a particular field may be required.Ø Develop management information reporting, in order to present overall information and operation development status for COO and relevent operation headsRequirementsTo be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:Ø Bachelor degree or above.Ø Five years or above project or business manager related work experienceØ Good understanding of project life cycleØ Good understanding of insurance business services and operationsØ Awareness of project management tools and best practice techniquesØ Proven project management skills and Management Information reporting capabilityØ Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills.Ø Sound decision making and problem solving ability.Ø Experience of managing project resources using appropriate communication and planning skillsYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
