As part of our continued growth we are looking for a Technical Application Manager within the Battery application to join our team in Asia. Experienced Technical Application Manager with over 3+ years of expertise in the battery industry, preferably with experience in Li-ion industry. Fluent in English and willing to travel extensively.Provide technical support to our Lead and Li-ion battery additive business in APACManage assigned projects and sub-projects in close collaboration with Technical Application Manager Americas/EMEA and the Batteries R&D teamActively contribute to generate ideas and projects, as well as proposing technical solutions that can improve Borregaard's biobased additives to the battery industry and their use at the customerContribute with technical marketing material in accordance with the current marketing plans for the Batteries applicationCarry out necessary work in connection with customer complaints and perform troubleshooting work in collaboration with the manufacturing departmentAs appropriate, participate in regional industry associations, trade shows and conferences in the regionImpactful and Sustainable InnovationHome base role with international exposure and career growthPhD or MSc in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or related fieldPreferably specific experience in working with performance additives to the Li-ion and/or Lead battery industries (e.g. binders, dispersants, organic expanders)Ability to work in an international, techno-commercial environment and interface with customersStrong communication and presentation skillsFluency in English (spoken and written) is requiredAbility to travelOperates advanced biorefineries, producing sustainable biochemicals, biomaterials, and bioethanol from natural raw materials.
