2. Lead the demand planning process, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and order management.
3. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather and analyze data, market trends, and customer insights to drive accurate demand forecasts.
4. Develop and maintain demand planning models and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
5. Monitor and analyze demand patterns, sales forecasts, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and proactively address potential issues.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet customer demand.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement inventory management strategies, including safety stock levels, replenishment policies, and lead time optimization.
8. Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy, reduce lead times, and minimize stockouts.
9. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and customer service levels.
10. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in a leadership role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights.
4. In-depth knowledge of demand planning methodologies, statistical forecasting techniques, and inventory management principles.
5. Proficiency in demand planning software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.
8. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
9. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
