Manager Brand Communication FCC, GCAArea: GCADepartment: MarketingDirector Reporting Line: Director Brand communications, FB/TRN/FCC/F1, adidasLocation: ShanghaiGSMS Grade: M4Number of Personnel Managed: -Cost Center/Budget and/or Revenue Responsibility: -This position plays a key role in accelerating growth of adidas FCC.She/he will be driving the overall sports performance equity with a strategic focus on Consumer insights, Ideas Development, Creative & Assets production and social / offline activation Development & Execution which delivers impact to the market.She/he will drive brand governance with Director to accelerate adidas sports performance business lift for the future city.In this context, she/he be working with internal key stakeholder & external agencies, partners to deliver brand/business objective on consistent basis.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Use market, industry, regional, consumer data and insights to identify best opportunities.
  • Keep monitoring on market trends and work with internal research team to added value from brand /communications strategy on the consist basis.
  • Work closely with BU, CCS and the other internal key stakeholders to develop the product communication calendar.
  • Develop activation and create the assets base on the calendar across retail, ecom, digital, social and activation to ensure maximum impact and efficiency with the collaboration with x-function team (media team, CRM, retail marketing, SPOMA and cultural marketing) to ensure the best-in-class execution.
  • Capable to leverage and facilitate x-cat planning & execution to make the best use of brand marketing resources.
  • Plan and manage the marketing budgets under Finance rolling forecast guideline
  • Proactively manage with agencies and vendors with corporate compliance guideline.
KEY CRITERIA
  • Working experience in/with sports-related brands & industry. Football, Training and Running related experience will be a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong story telling capabilities and creative production experience will be preferred.
  • 6-8 years proven experience in brand comm or product marketing function. 1-3 years in a managerial position will be a plus.
  • Passion and knowledge on sports.
  • Result/KPI oriented and proactive.
  • Able to handle stress from timeline and working scope.
  • Attention to details and sensitive to finance data.
COMMUNICATION
  • Possess strong communication skills, excellent command of English, on top of Chinese-Mandarin.
  • Good presenter and be able to present in high stake meeting with bilingual approach.
CRITICAL THINKING
  • Demonstrate critical thinking ability, identifies critical issues with reason, logic, judgement, and data to evaluate alternatives and recommends solutions.
  • Out of box /forward thinking, sensitive to new trend and be able to translate to meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.
