The role focuses primarily on polymer and composite materials and related product lines.This position operates under the guidance of senior scientists or project leaders and contributes to cross‑functional product development initiatives by providing analytical support, experimental data, and technical insight.Key Responsibilities:Support formulation and process development through laboratory experimentation, material preparation, and performance testing.Perform material characterization using established test methods, procedures, and laboratory equipment.Assist with prototyping activities, laboratory trials, technical service support, troubleshooting, and other hands‑on efforts to meet project objectives.Apply appropriate scientific and analytical techniques to interpret experimental data and draw technically sound conclusions.Investigate technical challenges and propose solutions under the direction of senior scientists or project leaders.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, application engineering, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain, to support product development and continuous improvement.Execute assigned project tasks in accordance with defined timelines, quality standards, and technical requirements.Accurately document experimental results, test methods, and technical findings in a timely manner.Support the evaluation and introduction of new materials, processes, and technologies under the guidance of senior team members.Prepare clear, concise technical documentation, reports, and presentations summarizing experimental results and recommendations.Participate actively in product development teams, contributing technical input and continuous learning.Comply with global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, protect intellectual property, and adhere to applicable regulatory and company requirements.Job Requirements:Master’s degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, analytical science or a related discipline.0–3 years of relevant industry or research experience in formulation development, material testing, or laboratory‑based work (academic projects or internships acceptable).Foundational knowledge of polymer materials, formulation principles, DOE methodologies, and material characterization techniques.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret and evaluate experimental data.Demonstrated technical capability through academic research, internships, or early‑career professional experience.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.High learning agility and adaptability to new materials, processes, and test methods.Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional team environment.Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, accountability, and task ownership.LI#DH1Join our to stay connected with us!Qnity is an equal opportunity employer.
