This role contributes to new product development, continuous improvement of existing products, and product validation efforts, with a primary focus on polymer & composite materials and related product lines. This position operates under the guidance of senior scientists or project leaders and plays a supporting role in cross functional product development initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Support formulation and process development through laboratory experimentation, material preparation, and testing activities.Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and performance evaluations, primarily for thermally conductive interface materials, and assist with data analysis and technical reporting.Perform material characterization using established test methods, procedures, and laboratory equipment.Assist with prototyping, laboratory trials, technical service support, troubleshooting, and other hands-on activities to support project objectives.Apply appropriate scientific and analytical techniques within area of technical expertise to interpret experimental data and draw conclusions.Research, investigate, and propose technical solutions to project-related challenges under the direction of senior scientists or project leaders.Collaborate with cross functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, application engineering, quality, commercial, sourcing, and supply chain, to support product development and improvement efforts.Execute assigned project tasks in accordance with defined timelines, quality standards, and technical requirements.Document experimental results, test methods, and technical findings accurately and in a timely manner.Support the introduction and evaluation of new materials, processes, or technologies under guidance from senior team members.Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, reports, and presentations summarizing experimental results and recommendations.Participate actively in product development teams and contribute technical input and continuous learning.Comply with global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, protect intellectual property, and adhere to applicable regulatory and company requirements.Education and Experience:Master’s degree or above in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline.0–3 years of relevant industry or research experience in formulation development, material testing, or laboratory-based work (academic, internship, or project experience acceptable).Basic knowledge of polymer materials, formulation principles, DOE concepts, and material characterization techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret experimental data.Demonstrated technical capability through academic projects, internships, or early career professional experience.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information clearly.High learning agility, with the ability to adapt to new materials, processes, and testing methods.Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to completing assigned tasks with quality and accountability.LI#DH1Join our to stay connected with us!Qnity is an equal opportunity employer.
