- Source, develop and onboard suppliers across the EAME region who can successfully manufacture CAT Solutions, diesel and Gas Genset enclosures along with electrical controls and switchgear.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with those sourced suppliers
- Lead a team responsible for ensuring the suppliers meet the key People, Quality, Velocity and Cost metrics for our business.
- Lead a group of individual contributors that deliver projects associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems.
- Manage the overall design and development of solutions, collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment.
- Execute key strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and development of associated tools & training.
- Drive adoption and identifying continuous improvement opportunities/projects, including standardization and simplification, and mitigating risks.
- Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication.
- Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Ability to analyse the purpose and scope of a producer, product, process, or project in terms of cost and benefits.
- Experience in Deisel and Gas Power Generators sales
- Experience in scope of Data Centre standby and prime power sourcing requirements
- Extensive experience and knowledge of EAME CAT dealer network
- Experience of working across Global Sales organisations.
- A completed university degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), manufacturing, or related field.
- This role will require 20% travel within the EMEA region
