Job Description:1. Job Purpose:- The primary function of this role is to develop and implement the sales activities of HTE business in Great China for both systems and machines(Castech) so as to realize the mid and long-term growth objectives of the HTE business in Great China and also in line with strategy of global Elastomer.2. Principal Accountabilities:EHS- Ensure business activities are in full compliance with Company policy, EHS standards and local regulations.Sales development- Be responsible for sales target regarding to contribution margin(CM) & sales revenue, CM oriented thinking and activities- Supervise and consolidate the sales forecast for accounts in charging area.Strategic Tasks and Implementation- Identify valued accounts and develop key project profiles.- Implement the sales and marketing directions per agreed directionsProduct / Business Development- Scout for new business opportunities in the respective sales areas / key accounts and develop a business plan- Work together with cross functional team to create a harmonious working atmosphere.Market Intelligence- Systematically collect, monitor and consolidate market intelligence, competitor behavior, demand situation of key accounts etc.Customer Management- Be the first customer contact to (key) accounts, frequently meet with customers.- Develop a profound understanding of the customers (e.g. business model and organization, roles and responsibilities, decision makers, influencers) as well as business / market drivers; accordingly translate this knowledge into profitable sales activities.- Conduct field visits, seminars, presentation and attend to customers’ inquiries;- Attend to customers' enquiries / complaints by coordinating customers and Huntsman technical team on technical issues.- Provide prompt response related to quality, technical applications, inquiries, and other related issues; conduct customers’ assessments and analysis.Credit Management- Monitor the growth of the customers’ business, review and coordinate with credit control to make appropriate credit recommendations- Follow-up on payment collections and ensure on-time payment from the customers and achieve zero bad debts3. Knowledge / Experience / Skills Needed:Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, polymer science, or Material science related.Experiences:Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience on Specialty Chemical Business, in MNC is a plus.Familiar with PU system knowledge or proved to be a quick learner.Proven track record of successful business growth, strong capability of “valued”(CM priority) biz. development.Skill:In-depth knowledge of polymer or material science, PU relevant knowledge is a plus. Technical know-how and applications.Mandarin and excellent oral/written English skills are necessary.Basic computer skills like Word/PPT/Excel are a must.Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment.Additional Locations:
