Position SummaryThe Business Development Manager for Automotive China will play a pivotal role in expanding our pres-ence in the Chinese automotive market. This position requires the willingness to relocate to Jena, Germa-ny for a time frame of 18-24 months before returning to China/Shanghai to drive the build-up of the China business. The successful candidate will focus on building strong relationships with Chinese OEMs, promoting innovative holographic technology, and driving new developments from conception to serial production. Working within an expert team, the Business Development Manager will develop and exe-cute market strategies, ensuring our cutting-edge solutions are effectively integrated into the automotive and consumer sectors.Main Tasks
1、Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese OEMs to foster business growth.
2、Oversee and navigate the complexities of the Chinese automotive market.
3、Promote and integrate new holographic technology into the automotive and consumer markets.
4、Accompany new product developments towards serial production, ensuring successful market entry.
5、Collaborate with the Business Development Head and Executive team to develop comprehensive market strategies.
6、Drive the execution of these strategies to achieve business objectives in the China market.
7、Conduct market and technology competitor screenings to stay ahead in the industry.
8、Negotiate contracts effectively to secure favorable terms for the company.
9、Represent the company at conferences and trade shows, showcasing our innovative solutions.Requirements
1、Master's degree (MSc) in Economics, Engineering or comparable education.
2、Over 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager or similar role in the China automotive industry.
3、A strong drive for innovation and a professional attitude towards customers.
4、Native proficiency in Chinese and professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
5、Willingness to travel extensively.
6、Ability to oversee complex market dynamics and conduct thorough market and technology com-petitor screening.
7、Experience in complex contract negotiation for pre-development projects and Serial production.
