Candidate will join a dynamic team based in APHQ, supporting a wide variety of corporate activities across China.
Legal function
Legal is a global function providing legal support to all companies and business units within Volvo Cars. The purpose of Volvo Cars is “For Life. To give people the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable and safe way.” Legal's mission, accordingly, is to accelerate realization of business objectives by fostering speed and convenience in everything Legal does.What you'll do
Candidate will be a key member of the APAC legal team based in APHQ, which provides legal support on the corporate side. Daily work will include the following:
1) Supporting business in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements concerning digital, software and connected services;
2) Supporting selected corporate functions on legal matters in daily operation;
3) Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts align with company objectives, business needs and policies;
4) Supporting team leader in specific projects.What you'll bring

At least LLB degree from a reputable Chinese law school.
7-9 years legal working experience in reputable law firms and/or MNCs. Solid experience in law firm(s) is a must.
PRC Bar qualified is a must, with overseas law degrees and/or qualification being a plus.
Familiarity with digital, software & connected services industry is a plus.
M&A experience is a plus.
Automotive industrial experience is preferred but not a must.
