- To align with Trinseo 2.0 growth Strategy in CASE market.
- Explore target market segments, identity more valued opportunities in the existing and potential key players and applications.
- Penetrate key accounts that excel in their specific segments and set the stage for qualifying Trinseo products, and drive commercialization.
- Work with technical team to accumulate understanding on application development and product innovations (if needed), and with functional team to set-up service capabilities to WIN.
- The industry in scope: Adhesive & Construction, China etc.
- Work with key accounts and channels (for small to medium size customers) in the industry to clearly understand key applications, value drivers, size, market trends, value chain players, incumbency products, competitors, expected profitability, qualification and purchasing process, etc.
- Ensure the daily demand and supply to existing customers. Provide accurate forecast and implement accordingly. Enhance customer relationship and partnership. Build up customer intimacy by visits and a robust interaction with the customers.
- Work closely with technical and R&D team on potential developmental projects, which are associated with some customers.
- Manage key account plans
- Explore new accounts for business growth in alignment with the business growth strategy. Be capable to explore the target industry from zero. Build up new customer intimacy and convert it to business results.
- Connect with selective 3rd party organizations such as industrial associations to accelerate new business development.
- Develop market plan by knowing the target new market segments from high level and be able to propose the right approach on how to penetrate the market.
- Explore new distribution channels. Use best networks to establish the right channels for the target new markets and achieve the results in the quick manner.
- Lead new application or product developmental projects for the new business development. Work closely with R&D team on potential trials and commercialization of the new products. Coordinate new product launching.
- Education: University degree
- Experience: 5+ years either in commercial, marketing and/or other commercial roles in Polymers or in the Chemical Industry.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong commercial skills.
- Demonstrated capabilities of key account development.
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing through opportunities identification to products commercialization.
- Demonstrated capabilities of learning new applications, understanding basic application and product technologies.
- Demonstrated high accountability and ownership.
- Good team player.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Communication: Fluent speaking and writing in English
