- Provides an understanding and data transparency on paint processes and its impact on key sustainability parameters such as carbon emission, water consumption etc.
- Runs scenarios / comparisons to identify sustainable paint processes via GLASS (lifecycle assessment)
- Evaluates a future target picture of a sustainable / carbon neutral paintshop based on the above taking go-to-market strategy into account.
- Provides guidance to technology, marketing, procurement on key focus areas to reach ECO's and its customers' sustainability targets (incremental and disruptive)
- Ensure sustainability contribution is factored into new technology developments. Provides guidance in new R&D project discussions.
- Trains, leads and coaches GLASS experts in organization
- Ensures proper GLASS roll out to customers, based on defined go-to-market approachMain Tasks:
- Maps and scopes the opportunities for sustainable paintshop solutions through incremental but also transformational scenarios, supported by LCA modelling with GLASS tool
- Develops go to market approach and runs implementation with ECO's stakeholders (primarily sales, marketing, and technology)
- Evaluates business model to help earning a premium on ECO's sustainable paintshop solutions.
- Acts as power user of GLASS tool and performs regular trainings, educational events as well as go to market coaching for internal stakeholders (i.e. webinars, videos, campaigns) to upskill ECO's team and create awareness / benefit at customers.
- Contributes to further improvement of the GLASS tool based on internal and customer feedback.
- Engages with industry stakeholders at relevant events, tradeshows, or media.
- Closely interacts with ECO's/ EC's sustainability, technology and digital team to define best practice and embed all activities into ECO's strategy.- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Sustainability or other relevant disciplines.
- Several years of experience in product development, technical product management, technical service
- LCA expertise as an advantage
- Entrepreneurship, customer focus and way to market mindset, drive and track record
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels with strong presentation skills
- Team player, excellent stakeholder management and intercultural awareness
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Chinese or German will be an asset.
