Senior Manager/Deputy Director (Up to: Director) of Automotive Business LineTypically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:
- Responsible for the profitability and growth of the entire or part of global business line
- Develops and implements programs & strategies that will successfully promote the organization's mission & meet financial objectives.
- Identifies target customers, maintains and strengthens external relationships including customers & other external authorities
- Accountable for and drives commitment; to compliance with all internal policies and legal regulations in every area of the organizations daily activity, including development of short and long-term plans, policies, and guidelines
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.
- Understand market dynamics and requirements for the Automotive solutions
- Serve as a champion of GF’s technology solutions with strong external presence at customer, technology conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.
- Define the market requirements, creating MRDs for new process technology and design IP
- Interaction with customers in partnership with sales to drive profitable design win pipeline and revenue growth
- Create and deploy compelling presentation collateral (Sales kit) on GlobalFoundries unique processes and provide sales team training for optimal customer adoption
- Marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategy in partnership with marketing team
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ Years of Experience in Semiconductor Product Field; 5+ year in a leadership role
- Deep domain expertise in at least one of the below categories in the area of product development/marketing with hands on experience in system or chip level design - MCU/Power Management/Sensors
- Travel Requirements: 25% of travel
- Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
- Knowledge of Semiconductor design and development flows
- Experience managing customer quality issues
- Language: Native mandarin speaker to support China’s high growth automotive market
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and proactive work ethic. Ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue.
- Experience in working with international and diverse teams and with multiple levels of management.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills. Good communicator and comfortable presenting to executive management and technical audiences.
