The position is located in Shanghai and the successful candidate will steer the practice. The candidate should have a proven ability to both service client companies on a day-to-day basis and contribute to new business development. The candidate should also have a strong interest in developing a strategic approach to communications, excellent written and verbal communications skills and an ability to help manage junior team members as a collegiate team player. The candidate should be mature, results-oriented, and prepared to learn and utilise new approaches to communications as part of a leading global communications consultancy business.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day management of Corporate Communications assignments, especially related to litigations and disputes mattersWork with a highly motivated team in the Shanghai office to strengthen the practice of the office.Work with senior management to provide input towards the development of the firm's strategic direction in the China market.Develop plans for business development.Lead the creation of high-quality written business development proposals.Provide input for the Shanghai office's marketing and promotional activities in China and Asia.Manage and mentor junior team members.Key RequirementsFluency in English or Mandarin, both verbal and written, and near native fluency in the other languagesBachelor degree in relevant disciplinesTrack record of driving corporate communications programmes for local and international clientsLegal background with experience dealing with litigations advisory, or handle disputes related matter would be an absolute advantageNew business development skills (strategy and proposal development, etc.)Media relations and crisis and issues management experience is a plusExcellent presentation and project management skillsAbility to work independently and manage own timeA collegiate approach to working in a diverse team across the Asia region and globallyOur BenefitsApart from the collaborative team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
