With a focus on sustainable growth and market leadership, they are driving forward the energy transition both domestically and internationally.The RoleWe are seeking a highly accomplished Power Trading Director to lead trading activities with a strong emphasis on Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) development. This senior leadership role will be based in Shanghai and will play a pivotal part in shaping the organisation's trading strategy, optimising market opportunities, and building long-term commercial relationships with key offtakers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the power trading team, setting strategic direction and delivering on commercial objectives.Develop, negotiate, and execute PPAs to maximise portfolio value and align with market conditions.Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and trading opportunities across the Chinese power sector.Build and maintain relationships with utilities, corporates, and other market participants.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align trading strategy with development and operational priorities.Key RequirementsProven senior-level track record in PPA development and execution within the Chinese power market.In-depth understanding of electricity market structures, regulations, and trading mechanisms.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage high-performing commercial teams.Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English preferred.RemunerationBase Salary: 900,000 RMB per annum.Benefits: Excellent package including performance-related incentives, healthcare, and career development opportunities.Application ProcessTGRC is acting as the exclusive recruitment partner for this position.
