
Regional Sales Director - Power Transmission

- Lead and manage both direct and indirect regional sales teams (including internal and external resources).
- Drive a balanced scorecard approach to performance across the region.
- Conduct skill assessments and implement development plans for direct reports.
- Develop annual regional sales plans (verticalized and localized) and monthly order forecasts.
- Define and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) and channel strategies.
- Oversee regional channel tiering and authorization.
- Create and manage account and channel plans.
- Lead efforts in acquiring new accounts.
- Take primary responsibility for key account management.
- Manage local distribution branches (key independent partners).
- Maximize customer-facing engagement time.
- Serve as the lead for local project pursuits, supported by vertical and business teams.
- Ensure sales funnel sufficiency to meet quotas, with a focus on quality and win-rate accuracy.
- Maintain a balanced scorecard for funnel health.
- Enter all opportunities into CRM, excluding direct vertical OEMs.
- Utilize standard CRM tools and processes effectively.
- Organize and execute local events, trade shows, and marketing activities.
- Implement local channel strategies and programs.
- Ensure timely follow-up on marketing-generated leads.
- Provide monthly division-level forecasts.
- Identify and prioritize "Must Win" opportunities.
- Support cash collection efforts when necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with other segments (AMC, PES) for lead sharing and synergy.
- Own and convey regional sales quotas.
- Support reporting functions (e.g., regional performance reports).
- Coordinate customer visits with non-sales personnel.
- Optimize sales efficiency and resource deployment.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the industrial manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and technological trends.
- In-depth knowledge of customer business models and industry cycles.
- Proven experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
