- Develop and implement comprehensive sales operation strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and market dynamics. Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales targets, territory plans, and resource allocation strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal sales data to identify growth opportunities, potential risks, and areas for operational improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of sales operations staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise to support the sales organization'sorganization's needs.
- Streamline and optimizeoptimize the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales process and implement process improvements and practices.
- Collaborate with the finance department to analyze sales financials, including revenue, cost of sales, and profitability, and provide insights and recommendations to optimizeoptimize sales financial performance.
- Track and report project progress, milestones, and results to senior management and other stakeholders. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned for future projects.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is required. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales operations teams, driving sales performance, and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Proficient in using sales automation tools and systems, such as CRM platforms, and data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, adapt to change, and thrive under pressure.
