- Owning Long term, mid term, short term allocation forecast, all POL POD based finalized reporting set up in system
- Daily/weekly exchange with c ustomer about allocation on ALL CARRIERS and trade lanes. Gap analysis forecast vs allocation, apply for extra allocation in advance, alert in advance if allocation cannot be fulfilled
- Monitor allocation utilization daily and optimize utilization
- Daily/we ekly exchange with internal shipping agency team and In house carrier about optimizing each in house carrier vessel's allocation, at the same time optimize the ETA by using different carrier options. Including but not limited to forecast on each in house c arrier's vessel.
- Daily booking control, monitoring what is booked, when it's booked, what will be booked, what is not booked yet and why, what is cancelled, when it's cancelled, why cancelled.
- Monitor allocation utilization daily and optimize utilization (e.g. daily booking report, weekly closing).
- Carrier performance monitoring: on time SO release, equipment etc.
- Bachelor degree or above
- Above 10 years working experience in Supply Chain/Logistics enterprise, especially with
- 5 years relevant working experience in allocation management or procurement role
- Freight forwarder operation background is preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening, and presentation) skills required in both Chinese and English
- Good motivator and facilitator to ensure that set targets are achieved
- Ability to gain credibility and trust internally and with customers.
