We seek a candidate with fervor for success and a "player-coach" attitude. By enhancing the Sales team's abilities and mentoring, the Director will drive both individual development and HRS's growth ambitions. Moreover, they will offer strategic assistance to our clientele, uplifting their employee and traveler experiences. This Director will be under the direct purview of the SVP for the APAC region.CHALLENGE
- Lead and mentor: Guide a Sales team focused on B2B consultative selling primarily targeting Fortune 500 enterprises and above.
- Strategize and implement: Formulate and apply strategies consistent with HRS's overarching vision.
- Lead business prospect qualifications: Spearhead the process of qualifying potential business prospects using standardized methods.
- Guide the sales team: Instruct and assist the sales team utilizing the MEDDPICC methodology for enhanced outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely across a multifaceted project matrix to achieve business goals.
- Analyze market trends: Scrutinize the market to discern evolving trends and pinpoint potential business partners.
- Oversee client acquisition and retention: Supervise the process of gaining new clients and retaining existing ones in alignment with global strategies.
- Serve as the primary contact: Act as the foremost point of contact for any major account escalations.
- Oversee G2M planning: Manage Go-to-Market strategies, supervise local sales activities, and be responsible for subsequent reporting.
- Monitor and manage: Keep a close eye on team performance metrics, ensuring everything is recorded accurately in CRM.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and team development: Take charge of team growth, from hiring new members to their training and professional development.
- Build relationships: Forge and nurture ties with crucial industry influencers and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Experience: Proven record in complex solution sales, preferably in technology consulting, SaaS sales, or similar industries. Background in software related to travel, expense, and payment is an advantage.
- Management Acumen: Ability to build stakeholder networks, analyze data, and strategize based on structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, MEDDIC).
- Execution: Aptitude for implementing strategies, deriving insights from data, and crafting compelling business cases.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities. Strong public speaking skills.
