  • Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (e.g., Forms 20-F, 6-K, and other periodic filings).
  • Supervises and reviews day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions and the month-end closing and consolidation processes. Ensures proper application of IFRS and regulatory requirements and maintenance of appropriate internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Manages the design of internal controls and ensures SOX documentation (key risks and related controls, policies and procedures, and other internal control documentation) is complete and up to date. Coordinates with internal and external auditors and process owners to ensure collaborative execution of the annual evaluation of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR). Provides guidance, training, and recommendations to strengthen internal controls, create efficiencies, and remediate deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits, quarterly reviews, etc.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including M&A, system implementations, etc.
  • Stay abreast of evolving SEC, IFRS, and SOX requirements, providing guidance on their impact to the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and accounting, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm with hands-on involvement in auditing public companies.
  • Direct experience working in or auditing US-listed companies, including familiarity with SOX and SEC filing requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in a global context.
  • Proficiency in finance systems and tools, experience in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience in technology or leisure industry is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
