
Finance Director, IPS China

- Act as a key business partner to the GM, informing leadership of financial implications of business decisions.
- Develop, execute, and oversee long-term strategy planning process including coordination with Commercial, Engineering, and Operations functions to coordinate presentation to ELT and long-term financials creation.
- Lead investment proposal development and business case evaluation.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Performs all FP&A reporting to executive management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Monitor budget variances, provide actionable insights, and recommend corrective measures.
- Deliver actionable financial insights (e.g., ROI, NPV, margin optimization) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and mitigate risks.
- Financial Reporting & Process improvement
- Lead monthly close process and monthly financial operating reviews, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, statutory, and tax requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and reduce cycle time in various reoccurring financial processes through the increased utilization of technology and tools, implementation of standard operating procedures and other efficiency measures, while embracing RRX’s 80/20 principles.
- Cost Management
- Implement cost-control measures and efficiency optimization strategies.
- Analyze cost structures and recommend profit improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Identify and assess financial risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and manage currency exchange risks and financial exposure.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
- Enhance the cross functional collaboration efficiency of the finance team, coordinate with the key stakeholders in the finance department, including the corporate finance team and the division finance team and IPS China management team.
- Enhance the financial competency and build high-performing local finance teams.
- Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance/accounting experience in manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Plant finance and corporate oversight experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese GAAP, tax regulations, and financial operations.
- Team Management, leadership and people development skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, high self-motivation and a strong business acumen and insight.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA or ACCA is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Spreadsheets, Word and PPT.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
