Newly created role, reports to global IP director directlyAs IP Managment in China, you will work with global IP, porfolio, R&D, RA, BD team and Interanal & External counsels.

Study and interpret the IP strategies of the Pharma companies in China. Co-ordinate IP activities between global and local team on regular basis for all the assets - Filed, under development & future pipeline projects
Advisory and coordination activities on Intellectual Property matters with Portfolio, Business Development, R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Finance, Launch management team and provide strategic IP inputs to business development and portfolio team to build a robust product portfolio for China market
IP risk assessment and risk mitigation for critical filings and launches, conduct IP due diligence on potential product acquisition/in-licensing from strategic partners
Initiate/support oppositions, appeals and third-party observations for clearing the way for launch. Also assist in handling claims of infringement brought by other companies, particularly litigation relating to our products, Devising the Litigation strategy and providing the support to outside counsel for all the litigations
Customer/Front end support for answering IP queries from API customers and out-licensing partners
Initiate/support for drafting patent applications by identifying right set of products and supporting the IP creation and monetization initiative

Decent MNC, stable business, promising industry|Newly created role, reports to global IP director directlyWe expect you come from Pharmaceutical/healthcare background and speak fluent English. 5-8 years experience in IP

Possess at least 3 years legal experience as IP manager or in-house counsel in Pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
R&D experience in the Pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry will be an added advantage.
