- Be at the forefront of market and consumer insight delivery, translating data into actionable recommendations for brand and commercial teams
- Own China market & category intelligence, including market trends, pricing tiers, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities
- Lead consumer insight projects end-to-end, including research design, questionnaire development, fieldwork management, data analysis, and synthesis
- Integrate multiple data sources (consumer study, retail data, e-commerce data, syndicated studies, internal CRM data) into clear, decision-ready insights
- Prepare first-cut insights, POVs, and recommendation options to support business reviews, AOP, and leadership discussions
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, and E-commerce teams to support innovation, pricing, communication, and go-to-market decisions
- Manage research agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality outputs, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency
- Act as a key interface between Global CMI frameworks and China business needs, ensuring local relevance and clarity
- Bring insights to life through clear storytelling and structured presentations that drive discussion and action
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in CMI, market research, consulting, or FMCG / beauty industry
- Solid experience across quantitative and qualitative research techniques, including ad-hoc studies, syndicated research, social listening, and market data analysis
- Strong ability to synthesize insights across data sources, even when information is incomplete or imperfect
- Proven capability to manage multiple stakeholders and operate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial mindset with clear understanding of how insights drive business decisions
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to structure and present insights clearly to business teams
- Experience managing research agencies and budgets, ensuring actionable results at best cost
- Preferred background with both agency and in-house experience, with strong deck building and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
