
Senior Manager/ Manager, Regional Segment Marketing

- Primary region point of contact for utilization of Illumina technologies in Multi-omics solution, facilitating inbound and outbound communication, and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders
- Solicit and consolidate inputs from customers and field staff within the region to provide in-depth market analysis and insight to Illumina regarding customer and market issues
- Provide information and guidance to the revenue planning, marketing planning, etc.
- Lead the planning and execution of value proposition, solution combination, segment campaign and product launches within the region
- Lead the planning and execution of other marketing communications and promotional activities including online and offline advertising, publications, webinars and collateral, product bundles, cross promotions, and trade-ins, both directly and through sales channels
- Execute or coordinate local events such as major conferences and tradeshows, seminars, user meetings and product launch events
- Work together with sales team to achieve sales target
- Assist field sales in providing guidance for positioning and identifying target customers
- Deliver effective training and sales enablement tools to help our TAMs/SCP be more efficient and effective
- Ensure technical competence of segment managers and marketing deliverable is maintained at a high standard
- Define and manage segment budgets and priorities for all the above activities
- Experience and understanding of genetics technologies and how they can utilize in the genetic disease or multiomics related application
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales and/or technology in life sciences, or related industries required
- The ability to evaluate new market opportunities
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to persuade
- Fluent in English and Chinese (verbal and written)
- University/College Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline
- Master or PhD degree is an advantage

- 主办或配合开展本地活动,比如大型会议和展会、研讨会、用户会议以及产品发布会。
- 与销售团队配合工作,实现销售目标。
- 提供市场定位和确定目标客户等方面的指导,为现场销售人员给予协助。
- 提供有效的培训和销售激励工具,帮助我们的区域客户经理(TAM)/销售渠道合作伙伴(SCP)提高效率和效果。
- 确保品类经理技术能力胜任,并以高标准维护营销资料。
- 为以上所有工作制定并管理品类预算和优先级。
- 在遗传学技术以及如何在多组学应用方面具有经验并充分理解;
- 要求具有7年以上生命科学或相关行业的营销、销售和/或技术经验;
- 能够对新的市场机会进行评估;
- 优异的口语和书面交流技能;
- 优秀的宣讲技巧;
- 优秀的谈判技巧和说服能力;
- 流利使用英文和中文(口语及书面)。
- 科学专业的本科学历,或同等学历。
- 硕士或博士学历优先考虑。
