We are looking for an experienced Insight Analyst to join our retail analytic team. This role will focus on supporting both new store openings and the performance optimisation of existing stores. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytically skills, a deep understanding of retail operations, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to support new store openings, including site selection, sales forecasting, and performance evaluation;
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of existing stores to identify growth opportunities and operational risks;
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytically models to support retail operations and strategic planning;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including retail, marketing, finance, and data teams to drive data-informed decisions;
  • Deliver clear and concise insights and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management;
  • Continuously improve data processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Direct involvement in retail and FMCG operations, close to frontline businessInsights directly influence strategic decisions at the management level
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Business Analytic, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis within the retail or FMCG industry;
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to independently extract and manipulate large datasets;
  • Solid understanding of retail KPIs and store operations; experience in store performance analysis or new store evaluation is a strong plus;
  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar;
  • Strong analytically thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills;
  • Business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
