Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Team Management:
− Formulate and implement Digital/IT roadmap that align with BD global strategy and China's business needs.
− Optimize resource allocation, improve overall team efficiency, and coordinate the management of IT service and digital business teams within China.
− Work with partner management team to drive a local partner strategy that leverages the ecosystem in ChinaDelivery:
− Accountable for delivery of the Digital/IT projects and solutions for ChinaGlobal Collaboration & Reporting:
− Work with different local and global stakeholders in a Matrix organization to ensure meeting the local business requirements.
− Be the “Voice of China” into the Global BD organizationIT & Digital Operations:
− Ensure the stable operation of core enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and IT infrastructure.
− Optimize existing business models, develop and integrate internal and external digital resources to support customer businesssuccess.
− Lead the implementation of innovative solutions such as AI and business digitalization, enhancing organizational service capabilities and reducing reliance on external vendors.Talent engagement/development & Leadership development:
− Formulate a talent strategy for BD China region with a focus on future technology landscape
− Responsible for engaging, attracting, and retaining talent
− Develop the right and optimum leadership structure. Develop a robust succession planninQualificationsCore Professional Skills & Knowledge
Digital Strategy & Planning:
− Ability to formulate and execute a digital strategy that is deeply aligned with the business objectives of the China market.
− Profound understanding of digital transformation trends in the automotive components industry (e.g., Industry 4.0, Smart Supply Chain, Digital R&D).
− Capable of localizing and implementing the global headquarters' digital strategy.Technical Architecture & Implementation:
− Expertise in enterprise IT architecture (e.g., ERP, MES, CRM), cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud), data platforms, and cybersecurity.
− Hands-on experience in deploying and managing AI technologies (machine learning, data analytics, intelligent automation) in corporate settings, with the ability to evaluate their business value.
− Strong capabilities in IT project management, cost control, and vendor management, with a focus on efficiency gains and ROI.End-to-End Solution Management:
− Experience in full lifecycle management, from requirements analysis and solution design to development, implementation, and support.
− Familiarity with China's mainstream digital ecosystem (e.g., WeCom, DingTalk, local SaaS providers) and the ability to integrate them effectively.Key Business Experience & Acumen
Industry Experience:
− Mandatory:Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior digital/IT management role within theautomotive or advanced manufacturing industry.
− Deep understanding of business processes, supply chain management, quality control, and industry-specific compliance requirements in the automotive components sector.Balancing Localization & Globalization:
− Multinational Corporation Experience:A proven track record of success in an MNC environment, with a deep understanding of matrix organizational structures and a knack for finding the optimal balance between "global standardization" and "local flexibility."
− China Market Expertise:Deep insight into China's unique business environment, digital ecosystem, and regulatory landscape (e.g., Data Security Law), with the ability to translate this into business opportunities.Business Value Driver:
− Not just a technologist, but a business partner. Able to articulate the value of digital initiatives in business terms (e.g.,revenue growth, cost savings, efficiency gains, customer experience).
− Demonstrable achievements in directly driving business growth or significantly improving operational efficiency through digital projects.Essential Soft Skills & Leadership
