- Fully in charge of Oral Healthcare strategy in Great China Region, China Local-for-Local and Global-for-local product roadmap & RBU enablers related to innovation marketing.
- Lead GTM strategy development for innovation and NPI, grounded in deep consumer and shopper insights. Drive end-to-end innovation marketing including opportunity identification, concept creation, value proposition definition and concept validation to ensure strong consumer relevance and commercial success. You will then integrate these new concepts into product and solutions roadmaps and develop and bring the concept from idea to market with communication.
- Own Category Innovation Portfolio Strategy with a clear mid- to long-term horizon. Define a robust 3-year innovation roadmap, including portfolio phase-in and phase-out planning, to optimize category growth, future competitiveness and resource allocation.
- Steer the Product Development Launch and Maintenance (PDLM) process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction, including communication.
- Define and develop new business models, drive portfolio growth and find additional opportunities.
- Work with local downstream marketing & design team to develop and execute marcom toolkit.
- Forecast planning & budget control of innovation team.
- In collaboration with Insights & Analytics group responsible for validation of the local insights and source of business; lead OHC marketing research projects relevant to innovation.
- Interact with various disciplines including local and global Innovation, Technology & Development departments, internal and external design agencies, manufacturing units or external suppliers, global innovation marketing, local product marketing, marketing communication and international sales organizations.
- Help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing with your marketing views.
- Lead the overall Great China innovation roadmap on a regular basis with our marketing teams in Taiwan and Hong-kong market and ensure a successful product launch that fits with the Great China local market needs.
- Be a significant leader and contributor to realize China Play Book strategy for accelerating L4L speed and simplify processes that is more suitable for China needs. Proactively communicate and collect feedback and gather insights from customers and sales leaders to develop locally relevant and channelized portfolio.
- Coach, lead and develop the innovation marketing team and build local innovation capabilities.
- Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record, preferably an MBA;
- At least 10 years of experience in an international business environment in the field of innovation marketing or product management; at least 5 years’ experience in product development marketing.
- Experience with product development and product launches;
- Experience with translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new propositions;
- Proven track record with global consumer/retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse cultures in a complex matrix organizational structure;
- Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically;
- Excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others;
- Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks;
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills;
- Solid spoken and written English skills
