Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.OVERVIEWThe Talent Community Specialist is part of the Global Talent Community team, and their primary role is to learn and execute the programs, procedures, initiatives, and special projects as needed by their team. They are also responsible for timely responses to internal and external queries, making each contact clear, concise, and helpful. All work must be based on upholding the Welocalize Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation, and Global Teamwork.Main responsibilities
  • Work together with the TA partners and hiring managers to define the ideal candidate profile.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive crowdsourcing recruitment strategy tailored to the organization's needs and the types of positions to be filled.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and develop a region-specific sourcing strategy.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilizing crowdsourcing methods to source potential candidates from a diverse pool, take ownership and implement new sourcing initiatives, leveraging the power of word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Candidate Screening: Evaluating the referred candidates and their qualifications to determine if they meet the basic requirements for the positions.
  • Candidate Outreach: As a representative of the Talent & Community team, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential candidates and acting as the primary point of contact. Effective written communication is essential, as you will be engaging with candidates, job portal collaborators, and influencers.
  • Proactively build and maintain the talent pool: While you look for candidates for current openings you will also identify candidates for those roles that we recruit regularly for future hiring needs, helping to reduce the time to fill and time to hire.
  • Negotiate with different posting platforms and shortlist best sites according to the project requirement.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Tracking the success of the crowdsourcing recruitment efforts and providing regular reports on the effectiveness of the strategy.
  • Brand Ambassador: Promoting the organization's employer brand through crowdsourcing initiatives with Welocalize's 4 pillars of culture; Customer Service, Quality, Global Teamwork, and Innovation.
  • Measure success of the strategy and sourcing initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving the crowdsourcing recruitment process based on feedback and results to optimize candidate quality and the efficiency of the approach.
Experience required
  • Recruitment Experience: A solid background in recruitment practices and strategies is essential. Experience in sourcing candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, will be beneficial.
  • Networking and Relationship Building: Strong networking and relationship-building skills are crucial for a crowdsourcing recruitment specialist.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for engaging with the crowd and communicating effectively with potential candidates, employees, and collaborators.
  • Marketing Knowledge: A solid understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics is crucial. Familiarity with market research, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and product positioning is often required.
  • Tech Savviness: Proficiency in using various tools and platforms, such as ATS, crowdsourcing platforms, and social media management tools, will enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and basic programming skills (e.g., SQL) may be advantageous.
  • Crowdsourcing and Digital Marketing: Familiarity with crowdsourcing techniques and digital marketing tools is important for effectively engaging with a wide audience. Experience in utilizing social media platforms, online communities, and crowdsourcing platforms to attract and engage potential candidates is highly valuable.
  • Data Management: Experience in managing candidate data, maintaining databases, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations is important for handling large volumes of referrals and recommendations.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze the effectiveness of crowdsourcing strategies, track metrics, and measure the success of candidate outreach efforts is important for continuous improvement.
Education Level
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
