  • Provide strategic direction and oversee the development and achievement of Strategic Sales, plans for the whole China Sales Team.
  • Provide vision, leadership and direction to establish and maintain a competitive, profitable & growing commercial organization in China.
  • Utilize Goal Deployment and Individual Work Plans systems to achieve ongoing individual and commercial organizational objectives and continuously calibrate based on the company's ongoing and emerging imperatives in China.
  • Lead the development and attainment of key sales, product, profit, strategic positioning, and related operating targets established for the organization in China.
  • Develop and implement business and marketing strategies to achieve consistent, profitable business growth based on data and information from both the end use industries served and customer's product performance.
  • Design, implement and continually improve the organization, sales, and development of new business end use segments and product lines inclusive both organic and acquisitive/partner-oriented growth prospects.
  • Work closely with GM China and China Sales Team to develop across functional teams to broaden/improve product portfolio & raise customer satisfactions continuously through employee/customer/supplier innovation task forces or similar, and enhanced systems and a systematic approach to support the organization's values and processes.
  • Attract, develop and retain creative personnel to sustain a profitable & competitive commercial organization for the short- and medium terms. Achieve medium-and long-term strategic milestones for the human capital development of the China commercial organization.
  • Work closely with GM China to harness intelligence from both company performance characteristics and sensing the greater industry to assist in further developing an effective supply chain to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in China.
  • The ability to think through the implications of sales, marketing & service initiatives from both a revenue and profitability standpoint, competitive reactions, and overall industry impact, as well as raising the game continuously.
  • Develop strategies to truly understand what the customer needs and help them articulate it in financial, efficiency, or environmental terms through tangible value propositions and also raise customer responsiveness and shorten sales cycle time.
  • Lead the collaboration of the development of robust business processes for all key operating systems in relation to sales, BD & tech services. Lead a robust product introduction, modification, and deletion process in concert with operations and R&D.
  • Complies with the Corporation's policies in respect to travel, expenses and all reporting functions.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
A sizable and mature team|An essential management role
  • University degree and an advanced degree in business or another relevant discipline preferred.
  • The position requires leadership experience for an industrial manufacturing and marketing company and at least eight years of management experience; with a minimum of five years directly related to sales, business development & tech service leadership roles.
  • The role will have a strong knowledge of value selling for higher performance products.
  • This role should ideally have language fluency both in Mandarin and English.
  • Customer facing and/or previous industry experience in heavy duty/OEM machinery and equipment, oil & gas, power, automotive, or aerospace preferred.
Providing high-quality metalworking fluid solutions to various industries including aerospace, medical, automotive, and energy.In working with the China GM, this role will work in a highly synchronized manner that deliver common goals and getting the necessary marketing, technical services, R&D, and Financial support.
