- Drive and support life and health quotations while ensuring adherence to pricing and treaty standards as per MR group/regional guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Underwriting, Claims, and Actuarial teams in Greater China to foster sustainable growth in life and health reinsurance business.
- Interpret and distil business requirements, providing high-quality risk assessments and actuarial recommendations.
- Develop, automate, and enhance actuarial pricing models and tools to ensure accuracy, maintain up-to-date assumptions, and enhance daily operational efficiency.
- Contribute to product innovation, research, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Qualified or nearing qualification (making substantial progress toward fellowship).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in life and health insurance or reinsurance (including consulting) is preferred.
- Possess strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset, and a keen attention to detail.
- Collaborative, accountable, and adept at managing expectations from diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
