We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an international school based in Guangzhou. This is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August, 2026.About the schoolLocated in Baiyun District of Guangzhou, this international school has four sections: early years, primary school, middle school and high school. It provides both Cambridge International Curriculum and British National Curriculum programs. The school campus is large, well-equipped with classrooms, a Music and Dance area, a Library and Information Centre, an Art room, laboratories, a football pitch and other recreational areas.About the roleAs the primary school teacher, you will fulfill the role of homeroom teacher and be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

You will be tasked with teaching the cambridge curriculum, ensuring meticulous planning, delivery, and evaluation of lessons in accordance with the guidelines

Collaborate closely with teaching assistants to both develop and enhance the school's unique curriculum
Implement the Read Write Inc program for lower primary students, and organize literacy classes based on students' abilities
Benefit from the support of specialist co-teachers in Art and Design, Physical Education, Music, and Chinese. This arrangement allows homeroom teachers to enjoy dedicated Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time
Offer clear, constructive feedback to students, as well as their parents and caregivers, fostering an environment of open communication and continuous improvement

Requirements

Holder of Bachelor's Degree in education or equivalent.
At least 2 years’ teaching experience at international primary school(s)
Cambridge experience is essential
Hold teaching credentials
Excellent English communicative skills
