Welcome to Bosch.职位描述- Lead & direct assigned engineering activities of the project teams in order to achieve the successful market introduction, according to the New Product Development Process (PIF).
- Work with team and supplier to complete the engineering tasks; demonstrates ability to develop and successfully introduce a new project into production, on time , at cost, with quality and overcoming obstacles.
- System definition including requirement derivation, system decomposition, and validation.
- Work with suppliers on problem solving. Use creativity and applied engineering theory and principles to investigate and solve design and engineering problems. Utilize systematic problem-solving method for troubleshooting issues.
- Coordinate development testing and failure analysis. Assess and review the design of suppliers in each phase of development, define test requirements and review results, lead the technical risk analysis, and monitor the implementation of measures.
- Derive and manage Engineering documentation, e.g. BoM (bill of materials), specification and drawings. Coordinate product certifications.
- Proactively anticipate and seek out innovation, quality improvement, and cost reduction opportunities for new and existing products职位要求- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
- 5yrs+ experience in comparable industry. Power tool product design background including strong mechanical with electrical & software basis is highly preferred.
- Experience in mechanical design, understanding of manufacturing process for plastic, machined, castings, and spring parts, and gear transmissions.
- In depth plastic part design background with understanding of injection molding process & measurement methods is a plus.
- Understand and familiar with engineering methodologies like FMEA.
- Familiar with design software and system, e.g. PTC Croe CAD, PRO /E, and working knowledge to properly utilize GD&T dimensioning on drawings
- Strong communication skills especially in English (including technical) and high level of collaboration.
- Flexibility in working hours for communication with global team, and frequent domestic travels to buyout suppliers.
- Fast learner.
