- Performs product and technical demonstrations in the field or lab.
- Prepares and deliver presentations to customer on new products and services to promote adoption.
- Proposes new insights for our instrument business development via new applications mining and discovery in market. Apply data sources to analyze and capitalize on territory opportunities with the greatest return on investment. Communicate key driven activities, trends, and changing customer development plans and priorities, which includes emerging customers.
- Collect market dynamics information, customer’ s application trend and competition updates, connect with marketing, peer sales teams and other functions, to help to analyze impact, counter measures, either for short term and long term business strategy.
- Attends technical training and scientific meetings to gain information on new trends, products and discoveries affecting our business.
- Provide technical and applications expertise in response to current customer inquiries; do general hardware and software trouble shooting.
- Provides start-up applications training to new customers in their laboratories or CEC and demonstrates accurate operating procedures.
- Plans and work together with our customers to help them develop new technical methods and explore new experimental approaches.
- Assists KOL/KA relationship establishment through technical and application support.
- Supports and participates in dealer/distributor product training; Prioritizes hands-on training for contracted dealers’ engineers or application specialists for better dealers’ service coverage.
- Supports national or regional scientific conferences, user meeting, seminar, and other marketing activities.
- PhD in a life-science related field required, such as Cell Biology, Immunology.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Shows good judgment ant tact when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Must possess strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development.
