AWS Industry Cluster team is looking for a BD Manager for managing our business with accounts related to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers, Connect Vehicles, Autonomous Driving, Electric Vehicles (EVs), including battery manufacturers, charging infrastructure providers, and other relevant sectors. The Automotive industry is experiencing rapid growth, and we need an experienced professional who can effectively capitalize on this emerging trend. The hired candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving our company's growth in this fast-paced and evolving market, and accelerate the customers digitalize and innovative journey.Key job responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the rapidly growing EV market, including Tier 1 suppliers, battery manufacturers, charging infrastructure providers, and other relevant sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers within target accounts.
- Develop and execute effective business development strategies, tailored to the unique needs and requirements of each potential customer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts and product managers, to develop compelling value propositions and solutions.
- Conduct in-depth market research, analyze industry trends, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and innovations in the Automotive space.
- Manage the entire business development cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Consistently achieve or exceed targets and contribute to the company's overall growth and success in the Automotive market.

- Minimum of 8 years' experience in technology-related sales or business development roles.
- Proven track record of successful sales or winning cases in automotive industry, specifically with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers, or other emerging EV businesses.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with cloud solutions, virtualization, big data, AI, or other leading solutions is a significant advantage.
- 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers, Auto-Tech, Electric Vehicles and related technologies.
- Demonstrated success in managing large key accounts or high-volume business, with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive customer and industry contact network within the automotive sectors.
- Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
