We are seeking an accomplished ​​sales head​​ to lead our Optoelectronics Division, driving business growth and managing a high-performing team of 20 professionals. This strategic role requires deep expertise in chemical materials distribution with a focus on optoelectronic applications (display technologies, photovoltaics, semiconductor materials).Key Responsibilities:​​​​1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth​​
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ¥120M annual revenue target
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in optoelectronic materials (optical films, photoresists, specialty polymers)
  • Expand market share in key sectors: display manufacturing, AR/VR components
​​2. Team Management & Development​​
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a 20-person sales organization (including regional managers and key account specialists)
  • Implement performance metrics and incentive structures to maximize team productivity
  • Establish continuous training programs on technical product knowledge and advanced sales methodologies
​​3. Key Account & Channel Strategy​​
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with Fortune 500 manufacturers (panel producers, semiconductor fabs)
  • Optimize distributor network performance and supply chain collaboration
  • Negotiate high-value contracts (¥10M+ deals) with technical buyers and procurement executives
​​4. Cross-Functional Collaboration​​
  • Partner with Technology team to develop customized material solutions
  • Provide market intelligence to guide supplier selection and product development
  • Work with Finance to ensure profitable pricing and credit management
​​5. Operational Excellence​​
  • Monitor sales pipeline and financial KPIs using CRM analytics
  • Ensure compliance with chemical industry regulations and safety standards
  • Manage working capital through effective inventory and receivables control

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
​​Experience:​​
  • 10+ years progressive experience in chemical materials distribution
  • 5+ years managing high-performance sales teams (>15 people)
  • Proven success selling specialty chemicals to optoelectronics manufacturers
  • Established network in display/semiconductor/photovoltaic industries
​​Technical Competencies:​​
  • Deep understanding of optoelectronic materials (formulations, applications, testing protocols)
  • Ability to interpret technical datasheets and product specifications
  • Familiarity with major chemical suppliers (DuPont, Merck, Shin-Etsu product lines)
