- Responsible to drive and deliver KPIs to meet the overall GTS business objectives for SFS, Sales & Client Management - FI.
- Align with the respective RMs on the overall account plan and FI segment targets.
- Support the network by translating the referrals into revenue and referring deals to overseas.
- Work with the relevant Securities Services stakeholders and product management team to identify market requirements and opportunities and translate opportunities into business requirements.
- Increase DBS CN connectivity to various Futures exchanges, maintaining DBS CN as the leading FMDB provider.
- Capture QDII outbound opportunity through marketing DBS global custody services to China QDII custodians.
- Oversee the team to achieve and exceed revenue targets across all GTS products.
- Develop and implement strategic account growth plans to maximize relationship from existing clients through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, ensuring successful mandate implementation and revenue realization.
- Leverage data to optimize team performance, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
- Proactively identify and pursue new-to-product and bank opportunities. Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, cultivate robust sales pipeline, secure mandates from prospects.
- Leverage digital channels to engage prospects and advise clients on their digital transformation journeys within traditional financial services.
- Identify and develop Securities Services products arising from regulatory changes. Enhance existing Securities Services product offering to capture incremental business opportunities.
- Develop and execute detailed client plans for priority accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decisionmakers.
- Employ a consultative sales approach to understand clients' evolving needs and proactively position GTS solutions to address their challenges.
- Foster a purposeful, collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales and account management team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support team member development and growth.
- Effectively collaborate with the bank’s internal and industry stakeholders (e.g. product, operations, marketing, relationship managers, etc.) to achieve the team’s goals and acquire clients.
- Partner with industry leaders and key influencers to enhance the Bank's reputation and service offerings.
- Experienced banker with strong knowledge Financial Institutions coverage with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
- Master Degree/University Degree education level, preferable majored in Business Management/Economics/Finance.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese language.
- Presentation skills.
- Strong GTS product knowledge and understand the buying behaviour of Financial Institutions.
- Strong track record of driving revenue growth from local and cross-border cash, trade, and securities financing solutions (SFS).
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more GTS product areas (cash management, trade finance, securities services), with a successful history in sales and business development.
- Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams in a demanding, target-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and client needs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
