- Manage existing supplier base and develop potential suppliers
- Build and drive relationships with suppliers to deliver pricing, quality, delivery and aftermarket service improvement
- Develop the strategy of the category and review SSRB with cross functional team regularly
- Achieve category productivity target and lead cost saving activities
- Lead guidance to vendors for Cu/Alu blocking activities following WHQ guidance
- Contracting, contract management, and risk assessment / mitigation
- Conduct regular performance review with key suppliers
- Support global sourcing projects
- Support new program initiatives
- Support on supplier performance improvement objectives
- Developing strong working relationships with all function teams from procurement, Engineering and quality teams. Fully understand products and the purchased material/components of the assigned business unit or region as well as the BU or Region expectations on cost, quality, delivery and service from SGS suppliers.
- Work with WHQ Category to ensure global category strategy alignment and execution;
- BS/BA degree or above, engineering background preferred
- For non-engineering background, sufficient post training on engineering knowledge
- MBA preferred
- Certified Project Manager (CPM) is a plus
- 10 years or above in supply chain
- 5 years or above in category management or sourcing role from electronics, electrical and mechanical.

- Strong people skill as a teamwork expert with excellent communications and coordination with cross-functions and the customers inside the company as well as the supplier’s management/functions and other external entities outside the company.
- Adequate knowledge on supply chain management and procurement activities in a manufacturing entity.
- Adequate knowledge on international trade including INCOTERMS, international payment settlements, International transportation & Insurance, Custom & Tariff policy, Sanction & other trade restrictions, etc…
- Adequate knowledge on cost accounting as a non-financial manager
- Adequate knowledge on common quality tools such as 8D, 7 tools for problem solving, SPC & CpK, PPAP process, etc…..
- Good knowledge on Lean & Kaizen event
- Basic knowledge on statistics and the related diagram tools
- Fluent speaking in English and Mandarin, and good written in English and Chinese
- Good at MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Midea or Xiaomi relevant experience is a big plus
- Experience of people leader
