- Design and deliver health, safety, and wellbeing programs aligned with the people and culture strategy and health and safety policies in China.
- Define and execute on Health and Safety plan that ensure compliance local legal requirements in China.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prevent, early detect, manage and reintegrate cases of illness or disorder and minimize work-related productivity loss.
- Support and provide guidance to business leaders on fulfilling their duty of care and ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.
- Keep updated on changes to health and safety laws in China and support teams across the region to stay compliant.
- Support the creation of effective governance structures for health and safety standards across the region, to ensure our practices are compliant with local laws, providing guidance and oversight to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Coordinate the development of health and safety roadmaps and action plans, ensuring they meet mandatory requirements and align with organizational goals.
- Support the communication governance and rollout of health and safety initiatives across countries, including transparency on communication channels.
- Advise country teams on global and regional health and safety programs.
- Monitor health, safety, and wellbeing programs that promote a proactive safety culture, support employee wellness, and promote organizational resilience.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, management, and external partners to prevent issues, manage health risks, and ensure a safe and supportive workplace.
- A qualified Health, Safety and Wellbeing professional with proven experience in regional health, safety, and wellbeing management.
- Well-versed in local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and regional compliance frameworks.
- Skilled in developing governance models, strategic planning, and program management.
- A passionate communicator capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Experienced in investigating incidents, managing risks, and fostering a culture of safety and wellbeing.
- Fluent in English and familiar with local contexts.
- A proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, committed to continuous improvement.
