Senior Manager, Tax

- Identify tax planning / optimization ideas and strategize implementation plans
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to implement tax and digitalized solutions
- Advocate for tax policies and lead tax audit investigations in Greater China
- Proactively identify tax planning / optimization ideas to minimize tax risks and maximize tax savings
- Implement global / regional tax initiatives in Greater China
- Provide professional tax advice to cross-functional teams and business units
- Interact with and maintain good liaison relationship with tax authorities to advocate legitimately for the companies in Greater China
- Lead tax audit investigations
- Streamline tax filing process and leverage on digitalization tools to improve efficiency / accuracy and mitigate tax risks
- Interact with and gain acceptance from the Management and stakeholders on various tax initiatives and solutions
- Lead and align with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tax solutions
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or Economics
- Working Experience: At least 10 years of tax professional experience (of which at least 6 years of Big 4 experience)
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Professional Accounting qualifications (CICPA, RTA or equivalent)
- Persuasive and purpose driven
- Strong analytical, conceptual, concise presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate team members
- Good Chinese and English speaking and writing skills
- Developed in Drive Innovation, Collaborate for Achievement; Communicate Effectively, Drive Sustainable Solutions and Act with Entrepreneurial Drive
