Analyst - Cash and Bank

- Work alongside your team on daily Cash & Bank transactions and month-end closing activities, while supporting ongoing process improvements and seeking guidance from the Cash & Bank Senior Analyst as needed.
- Clarify accounting issues, review and correct any errors, and help ensure that all records align with IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate and foster positive relationships with internal and external partners, remain attentive to their needs, and help share and promote standard processes.
- Lead daily Cash & Bank transactions and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and external collaborators, supporting the Cash & Bank Senior Analyst to address operational issues and share standard processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate bank statement uploads, perform account reconciliations between SAP and bank interfaces, and handle open item's clearing.
- Record cash transactions, build journals for bank accounts, investigate payment rejections, and contribute to internal controls and audit processes.
- Support documentation updates and engage in efforts to standardize and automate workflows and processes across the company.
- Seek learning opportunities and feedback to support personal development while assisting with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or a related field, or validated experience in Cash & Bank Accounting.
- Some background in Cash & Bank Accounting or Finance Operations is helpful.
- Understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of IFRS.
- Proficient MS-Office skills, especially with MS-Excel; basic SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Experience with transitions and transformation projects is considered beneficial.
- Willingness to travel for training or workshops, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
