Procurement Manager -Big MNC Platform

The incumbent in this role is responsible for sourcing components and products from China for our Water Purifiers, Cleaning and Air Categories. Sourcing for innovations and assisting in getting the new innovations to market faster will be a key deliverable. Also driving cost reductions from our current vendors as well as sourcing components for driving cost efficiencies is an expectation from this role.

Developing alternate vendors to drive cost reductions and improve innovation. Scanning the local ecosystem for alternate products.
Products would include (but not limited to) membranes, pumps, motors, UV / LED lamps, SKD vacuum cleaners and Air Purifiers
Shorten the lead time from sampling to launching the product. Identifying the right product and ensuring the approvals and clearances happen quickly. Developing and implementing a process to ensure the time to market is 2 - 3 months
Negotiate better commercial terms. Creating avenues to open up lines of credit for products sourced
Guidance on planning for product sourcing - to factor in local holidays, ensuring that we do not face shortages or have inventory build ups.

Has to come from vacuum cleaner industry
Fluent in oral and written English
Work Experience: 8 - 12 years preferably in an Electronics Sourcing Setup
Understanding technical specifications of components/parts used in Water Purifiers, Cleaning and Air Purifier categories
Experience in Procurement, both in Mechanical and Electronic components
Negotiation skills & Driving cost efficiencies
Ability to understand the technical trends, customer's requirements and give insights to India Procurement team timely for innovative component sourcing
