Project descriptionThe team is responsible for building in-house platform between trade process systems, You will be working with highly skilled engineers on WebServices (APIs), Trade processing system, FM FX, Derivatives etc. domain. Micro service and Devops and get to work in modern software development environments and practices. As part of the FMTPT team, you will have an opportunity to contribute to the evolving technical direction of the team as we adapt to this rapidly changing space. As a senior UI developer, you will focus on technical solutions and participate into multiple agile software delivery teams to deliver the business value to the Business. You will understand the different technology silos within the Bank and how to interface with them. You will be part of the team that constantly analyse and improve the Murex Trade processing platform from a technical point of view as well as from user experience view. You'll keep yourself updated with the latest software technologies and sharing the knowledge to team.Responsibilities

o Building efficient, reusable well-designed and high-quality front-end systems. o User-centered agile product development. o Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code o Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code. o Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability o Continuously identify and evaluate new technologies that helps in building better products

SKILLSMust have

o 7+ years of experience o Experience in building highly scalable, high performance, responsive web applications. o Experience working with object-oriented programming and web technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Restful APIs) o Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 Solid grasp of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX o Advanced knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks for ReactJS o Usage of source version control software (e.g. Git) o Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies o Software testing know-how, including black-box and white-box testing methodologies and both functional and non-functional testing o Test driven development experience o Understanding of DevOps practices o Aptitude to learn the business domain of the application systems to be developed o Strong communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with business and other stake holders
