• Responsible for efficient running of all CAS projects within time, costs and quality

• Ensure the surface quality correlates with the AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase
• Supports technical supplier evaluation and development
• Collaboration with suppliers and allocation of projects (technical agreements, purchasing)
• Supports departmental development regarding processes, methods and tools in alignment with Director Design Operations
• Assist Director Design Operations with long term resource and budget planning
• Manages issues escalation to the next level
• Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) as required

• Degree or equivalent experience in Automotive/Industrial Design, Modeling or Engineering
• Fluent in English - other languages are a plus
• 15+ years of work experience in automotive design context, preferably OEM
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Manager
• Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent understanding how to translate 2D into 3D digital models
• Excellent knowledge about the design feasibility process and the deliverables per phase
• Ability to think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and sense of form
• Proficient knowledge about engineering criterias and requirements
• Proven organisational skills and an ability to multi-task efficiently
• Ability to manage and complete projects from beginning to end
• Good verbal and visual communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and international environment
