We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our team. You will primarily work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to sources indirect goods in logistic, Sea/Air/Road transportation, and services, ensuring safe, competitive (TCO), high quality and timely supply. If you have good knowledge in logistics pricing and negotiation skills, we are waiting for your application.Responsibilities
- Provide with sufficient reliable and compliant sources of supply, with competitive prices.
- Implement sourcing strategies and supply agreement for assigned site(s) in alignment with Management and peers.
- Negotiate supply agreements with local suppliers.
- Draft and execute sourcing strategies (supplier selection, negotiation and contract definition) for assigned categories of indirect goods and services for the region, developing knowledge of internal needs and external factors; liaise with peers for deployment of those strategies at regional, cluster and local level.
- Set savings plan, (improvement) targets and monitor suppliers performance for assigned site(s).
- Seek synergy, and where appropriate, support, working with cross functional stakeholders.
- Make sure supplier performance against agreed upon key performance indicators is reviewed and action plans for continuous improvement are defined.
- In charge of domestic logistics. (including Sea/Air/Road transportation, custom clearance).
- Support and drive development (process, organizational and personal development), identifying and participating in operational improvement initiatives.
- Make sure standard purchasing work processes are implemented and followed.
- Act as main interface with local operations for logistic part.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience for logistic purchasing.
- Capability of working in cross-functional and cross-cultural setting and within remote network; negotiation skills, convincing and target minded; good and quick decision maker; planning and implementation skills; due to the variety of tasks, flexibility is mandatory with the capability to set priorities.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English. Other languages are a strong asset.
- Development of multi-aspect sourcing scenario's, balancing purchasing price benefits, rebates, risk management (supply, quality) and working capital.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Purchasing, Economics, Engineering and/or equivalent by experience.
