- Prompt response to meet local business needs and drive Faster and Stronger initivities for Vietnam and GMD markets
- Excute the line pkg trials/ tests locally and lead for local communication with cross function team to ensure a on time project delivery.
- Interact with GP local suppliers to co-drive long term Pkg innovation , productivity and sustainability initiatives
- Expend the role to support the Sustainable film development for both Vietnam and Thailand markets. Responsibilities:
- As packaging expert, to co-work with product development team to support Foods Innovation Development agenda for Vietnam and GMD market by providing packaging solutions;
o Work together with product development team to ensure packaging development finished within planned timelines and budget;
- Explore advance packaging materials, formats and process technology to drive Vietnam innovation and productivity AOP ;
o Search, evaluate, validate and provide sound recommendations on materials, formats and process development, with the aim of driving innovation and growth agenda;
o To develop promotion packaging to meet business needs on packaging functions, cost and timeline.
- Timely provide technical solutions to deliver the Brand Stewardship & Customization activities.
- Expend role to support the Local Deployment of the sustainable films for both Vietname & Thailand market and support for the PKG RCBR by design for 2025,2030.
o Cooperate with local operation team (including plant , Engineer and Quality team) to lead the plant trials in local.
o Support the Deployment in local , including cascading the plan with the local operation team, supporting the launch communication with local brand team, cooperating with Quality team to monitor the post-launch market feedback of the new films.
- Co-work with local suppliers and brand team to explore the new pkg technologies/materials/formats to drive long term innovation needs. Qualifications:
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong inter-personal communication skills, good pressure management skills
- Bachelor degree and above in Polymer Science, polymer materials, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related major;
- Minimum five years of working experience in flexible packaging industries (preferred working in R&D) with materials, formats, processes, packaging requirements, testing, and standards; Possess established R&D mindset and build-in methodology, with lean 6-sigma methodology is a plus;
- Strong at project management, have proven excellent executional ability to drive projects from concept to commercialization within timeline and budget;
- Possess excellent communication skill
- Be creative, open-minded, quick learner;
- Strong at build up the relationship and connect with cross function team and key stakeholders locally.
- Have positive and forward thinking, is a self-starter.
