The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new project transfers, production line setup, and managing complex operational transitions, including factory relocations, expansions, and facility upgrades. This role requires deep expertise in sterile formulation manufacturing, strict adherence to GMP regulations, and a strategic mindset aligned with global operational excellence.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution for new product transfers, production line installations, and technology upgrades, ensuring compliance with GMP, cGMP, and international regulatory standards.
  • Lead factory relocation, expansion, or facility modernization projects, minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Develop and implement production strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while meeting global demand.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization frameworks.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality, supply chain) to align objectives and deliver operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with global health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership to align plant operations with broader business strategies and market expansion goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with 5+ years in sterile formulation production and 3+ years in plant management or senior operational leadership roles.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale projects (e.g., factory relocations, expansions, or GMP upgrades) with measurable results.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations for sterile manufacturing and experience with regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA, NMPA, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive cultural alignment in multinational environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; certification (e.g., Green Belt/Black Belt) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and local language if applicable), with the ability to liaise effectively with global stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a global perspective, adaptable to dynamic market demands and regulatory landscapes.
