The role of Tax Head is a leadership position in the Tax department, requiring expertise in managing tax planning, compliance, and advisory functions.

Manage Zone China Tax team and set new standards for Finance practices
Represent Finance Tax in cross-functional teams, cooperate with other Finance departments
Insure and drive continuous improvement of operational and financial performance as well as attainment of targets.
Actively lead the Zone China Tax team in achieving their accountabilities
Align with global tax and treasury team on regional tax projects and coordinate with internal resources and external consultants in managing projects to final resolution
Serve the corporate tax function in giving guidance& setting policy and bridge between the roles in headquarter and regional finance teams in Zone China.
Develop and make improvement to the processes and policies to enhance tax management
Fulfill Ad Hoc projects and tasks required by CFO

China Tax Head, directly reports to China CFOManaging a sizable teamA successful Tax Head should have:- Excellent leadership skills; promote team work and develop people effectively;- Comprehensive experience in tax management- Entrepreneurial mindset;- Strong analytical skills and ability to transform conclusions into plans and effective action plans;- Ability to adapt to fast changing environment; continuous look for performance improvement and drive for results;- Ambitions to further grow within Finance or into Operational role;- Effective communication skills, both on executive level as well as with frontline employees- Fluent in both written and oral English;- SAP Knowledge;- University degree in Finance- Minimum 8 years of Finance experience, especially in tax management areas;- Experience in an operational role is a plus;- At least 5 years' management experience, a plus in Manufacturing IndustryOur client is a Fortune 500 company in manufacturing sector, with great business performance in China market.
