This position is responsible for protecting employee health, ensuring environmental compliance, and leading the development and maintenance of HSE digital systems to drive operational excellence and sustainable business growth. The role partners with relevant functions and sites to develop, manage, and execute strategies related to occupational health, environmental stewardship, and HSE digitalization.The ideal candidate will achieve success by leading and supporting global programs and initiatives, including but not limited to:

Occupational Health: Industrial hygiene monitoring, health risk assessments, wellness programs, and pandemic response planning.

Environmental Affairs: Environmental permitting, emissions management, waste handling, and sustainability reporting.

HSE Digital Systems: Development, implementation, and optimization of HSE digital tools and platforms to enhance data-driven decision-making and compliance tracking.

We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled professional with the ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams, communicate effectively with senior leadership, and manage complex, high-priority projects.Roles and Responsibility1. Strategic Program Development

Establish and execute corporate standards and programs for occupational health, environmental management, and digital HSE systems

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and alignment with industry best practices

2. Technical Leadership & Expertise

Provide expert guidance on emerging regulations, technologies, and trends in occupational health and environmental management

Drive digital innovation in HSE management through implementation of advanced data analytics and monitoring systems

3. Performance Monitoring & Improvement

Develop and track key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness across all sites

Conduct risk assessments and lead continuous improvement initiatives to address identified gaps

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

Partner with site leadership to build organizational capability in occupational health and environmental compliance

Deliver training programs and technical support to ensure consistent implementation of corporate standards

5. Digital Transformation Leadership

Lead the development and optimization of HSE digital platforms to enhance data integrity and decision-making

Collaborate with IT to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and effectively integrated

6. Compliance Assurance

Oversee environmental permitting, reporting, and audit programs to maintain regulatory compliance

Manage occupational health monitoring programs including exposure assessments and industrial hygiene controls

The Person:1. Mandatory: CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification2. Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field3. 10+ years' experience in occupational health and/or environmental management within multinational chemical companies4. Required: Regional or corporate level management experience in multinational industrial settings5. Proven experience in HSE digital system implementation and management6. Comprehensive knowledge of global EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, REACH, etc.)7. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese8.
